Health Insurance FILTER provides an excellent health insurance package combining medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits. You can choose one of two Premera Blue Cross medical plans through their Heritage or Foundation networks. If you work 30 hours per week, health benefits are available the first of the month following 30 days of employment. FILTER will even help you pay for the coverage each month! Personal Time Off (PTO) Everyone needs a break from work and PTO provides for paid time away for vacations, holidays, illness, personal business or to care for family members. The amount of PTO earned is based on length of employment, accrued at 40 hours PTO for every 1000 hours worked through FILTER. Tuition Reimbursement and Training Discounts Career development is vital for both your success and ours. FILTER sponsors lectures where industry professionals share their experience and discuss design, theory and technical implementation in the field of interactive media. FILTER has also negotiated discounts for our employees at local design training centers. To help you pay for training we have established a tuition reimbursement account for each FILTER employee. We bank $0.25 for every hour you work through us and this account is available to reimburse you for class fees up to the amount you have accrued. 401(k) Plan FILTER offers a professionally managed 401(k) plan that allows you to set aside a certain portion of your paycheck towards retirement. FILTER will match a portion of your contributions that you earn a right to after three years of vested service. You can also roll-over an existing plan you might already have into the FILTER plan. Section 125 Flexible Benefit Plan By providing this plan, FILTER allows you to pay your portion of your health benefit package with tax-free dollars. We also offer a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account that you can use to defer tax-free money to reimburse yourself for certain eligible day care expenses. Direct Deposit of Payroll FILTER pay dates are bi-weekly on Friday and we encourage employees to use the direct deposit option for their paycheck. Referral Pay Employees that refer a new client or freelancer to FILTER that leads to a filled job will receive a referral bonus. Learn more about our current referral plan. Credit Union Membership All employees are eligible to join First Tech credit union. Costco and SAM’s CLUB Membership FILTER offers access to membership at Costco and SAM’s CLUB to all employees.
