Los Angeles | Client Site | Short Term | Contract

Are you an experienced Photo Editor with knowledge of the web, plus you’re an avid sports fan? If so, we have several openings for qualified candidates.

FILTER is looking for Photo Editors for part-time contract opportunities with a highly visible sports website. Positions will last approximately 3 months and entail 24 + hours of work per week (shifts will be morning, afternoon or evening).

Photo Editors will select, edit and prepare photos for web publishing, working on a variety of assignments in an exciting atmosphere. To land this gig, you must have at least 2 years of photo editing experience, expert Photoshop and color correction skills, plus be proficient on a MAC platform. Hands-on experience with a content management system is considered a bonus.

If you’ve got the chops to be a Photo Editor in a fast-paced environment—and you’re knowledgeable about sports, teams, leagues and athletes—we’d love to see your resume, including the websites you’ve contributed to. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Selecting, editing and preparing photos for web publishing
• Prioritizing and fulfilling assignments
  

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

• Expert Photoshop and color correction skills
• Proficient on a MAC platform
• Experience matching photos with headlines to achieve maximum impact
• Understand and implement best practices for image delivery (optimization, sizing, etc.)
• Ability to work night and/or weekend shifts
• Work well under pressure and have a good attitude
• Minimum of 2-years photo editing experience
• Experience with a Content Management System is a big plus
