FILTER is seeking a Senior Project Manager with PMI certification and at least 8 years of experience in a technology development or consulting environment. We have a 6-month contract opportunity with an internationally acclaimed interactive agency.
The Senior Project Manager will fulfill multiple roles ranging from budgeting to recruiting, client management and business development to data gathering and presenting. The Senior Project Manager may manage up to two 2 small client teams or one large client team and will be the primary point of contact for the client throughout the duration of the project.
Additional requirements for this position include 5 to 10 years of project management experience including multi-team and multi-project responsibilities. Experience with leading at least 2 internet/e-commerce projects from concept to completion is also required. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Planning and directing all work activities leading to the delivery, assurance, certification and acceptance of project deliverables
Interfacing with clients - Post project QA and knowledge management
- Oversee a large, complex e-commerce project or multiple projects consisting of diverse teams
- Lead proposal definition
- Assist in contract negotiations
- Manage and supervise teams
- Assign and direct work in compliance with proposal or statement of work
- Provide primary direction, guidance and priority setting at project level
- Interact with senior client and executive level management regarding project, expected business outcome, contract/engagement administration (billing)
- Deliver project briefs, final reports, recommendations, etc.
- Mentor project managers
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- 8-12 years technology development experience or managing in a consulting environment
- 5-10 years project management experience including multi-team, multi-project responsibilities
- PMI Certification
- Business Development Boot Camp
- Successfully led at least two internet/e-commerce projects from concept to installation
- Ability to manage projects with 10- to 25 staff, in matrix, multi-discipline environment
- BA, MS/MBA preferred
- Working towards or completed industry certification in PM
