3D Graphics + Gaming: Assistant Release Manager (Gaming)

Are you interested in working in the gaming sector? Have at least 1 to 2 years of project management experience, plus a commitment to delivering quality experiences to customers? We’re looking for an Assistant Release Manager to contribute to a prominent gaming platform, and if you have a technical background and knack for organization then we’d love to hear from you.
This is a one-year contract opportunity in Sammamish. The Assistant Release Manager will be responsible for managing schedules, assisting in planning and providing essential internal communications. Strong project management skills are required as well as familiarity with SharePoint, InfoPath, Microsoft Project, Visio and other project planning and tracking tools.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Manage schedules, assist in planning and providing essential internal communications
- Source from multiple teams and various information mediums to consolidate and communicate the tracking of key project and readiness metrics
- Track multiple releases simultaneously across multiple teams
- Help build and manage a consolidated release and impact schedule
- Stakeholder communication and status reporting from project initiation through closure
- Assist in tracking project risks, risk management plans and dependency analysis
- Maintain overall project plans and schedules
- Understand and implement changes to how the project status can be presented by linking to different (and often disparate) information sources
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- 1-2 years of program management experience
- Solid experience with SharePoint, InfoPath, Microsoft Project, Visio and other project planning and tracking tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about delivering the best experience to the customer by ensuring all the support components are lined up effectively
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's products/services/applications preferred
- Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills
- Ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues
- The ideal candidate will have high-powered analytical skills
- Must have excellent communication skills to all levels, experience working with external vendors, strong project management skills, strong leadership skills, and demonstrated experience managing programs with varying degree of complexity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
