Design + Production: Associate Creative Director

FILTER has an amazing contract opportunity for an Associate Creative Director in Seattle. This position is with an interactive agency that serves highly-visible brands.

The Associate Creative Director reports to the Creative Director while collaborating closely with the CD and the rest of the design team. The ability to articulate design principles, trends, marketing principles, cultural issues and more is crucial to this position, as is the ability to communicate effectively to all levels. This position will entail managing and mentoring art directors and designers and driving the overall direction of the creative group on given projects.

Our ideal applicant has an amazing intuition about design (plus an ability to articulate design concepts) and demonstrated conceptual and strategic campaign experience. The Associate Creative Director should be a strong leader who can convince, persuade and inspire those around them. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Lead large scale Agency of Record accounts
• Manage and mentor Art Directors, Senior Designers and Designers
• Work with Creative Director(s) to ensure maximum effectiveness of various concepts
• Help drive and inspire the overall direction of creative group

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

• Understanding of the strategic business intent of specific projects and audience/customer goals
• Team player willing to do whatever it takes to make the work better
• Must have outstanding body of work
• Demonstrated conceptual and strategic campaign experience
• Strong communication skills in presenting a vision to clients
• Demonstrated experience strategically delegating work to design team members
• Demonstrated ability to lead, convince and inspire in a client-service environment; proven ability to achieve results with major clients and manage team members
