Client Request
It begins when we hear from a Client – you. We receive your request and begin with a detailed Needs Assessment involving your team and a primary contact from the FILTER Icon Team.

Terms & Agreement
We then make a detailed evaluation of your project's scope, enabling us to create a cost analysis and proposed timetable for the project. Once you and FILTER agree upon the terms, we assign a Project Manager (PM) and deliver the project specifications from our initial assessment to the Filter Team.

Planning & Setup
The FILTER Team – Project Manager, Concept Artist, Icon Artist, Production Artist – meets to discuss the details of your project. The Production Artist transfers the information from a detailed Icon Request Spreadsheet to a working Design Template(s). The FILTER PM then delivers the Design Template(s) to the Concept Artist(s) chosen to meet your specific product style and needs.

Design
The Concept Artist(s) creates a set of concept sketches and initial proposals, and submits to the FILTER PM for review. The FILTER PM then works with you to review the concepts, gathering feedback and honing in on specific choices.

Iteration
Working with your input and selection, the Icon Artist and the FILTER PM iterate on the image concepts until final icons are ready for your approval.

Final Client Approval
You choose the final concepts, which are then submitted for rendering to the Icon Artist. Any concept modifications are made at this time. If needed, additional icon sizes are drawn and created. The FILTER PM oversees the process and delivers the final files to the Production Artist.

Production
The Production Artist creates all necessary formats for the set of icons and their various sizes. The FILTER PM reviews the files for accuracy, technical specifications, and completeness. The files are delivered to you via our corporate extranet site.

Completion & Delivery
You and the FILTER PM review the final icon sets. You approve and accept delivery of the icons.

 |
Follow-up & Feedback
Once the project is completed, the FILTER PM solicits your feedback about the project and shares your comments with the entire FILTER team.
